Yulian A. Tinoco
Do you ever feel like you keep landing in the same relationship pattern, even with different people? Or maybe something feels off in a way you can't quite name yet. That's usually where we start. I work with individuals and couples, especially people who've felt unheard or misunderstood in past therapy, or in life generally, including those in helping professions, therapists, nurses, teachers, pastors, who are so used to holding everyone else that they've forgotten someone can hold them too.
A lot of what we'll work on comes back to self-worth, the root of most of what people bring into my office, whether it shows up as relationship drama, burnout, or a quiet sense of "something's wrong with me." I use CBT and DBT, not in a worksheet-y way, more like practical tools for when things get hard.
You don't need to have it all figured out here, just show up as you are. I'm bilingual (¡hablo español!) and licensed in Michigan and Virginia, seeing clients in person and virtually.
If this sounds like you, I'd love to hear your story.
