Christina Lipscomb
Hi there! I'm Christina and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in WV. I typically work with students and adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, life and/or relationship stress and challenges, women's life experiences and issues, grief and loss, and/or trauma. If you are looking for support to better navigate life and the things affecting yours, to develop the skills and strategies to improve how you feel and have a more hopeful outlook, and to simply feel more like yourself again, then I believe we would be a good match!
I specialize in working with those who are experiencing depression, anxiety, life stress, grief, and trauma. I offer a creative and integrative approach tailored to your needs, and this may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindful awareness, mind-body or somatic interventions, art/music/writing/nature, physical activity/movement, EMDR, and more based on what works best for you.
Helping you feel safe, comfortable, and able to be open about what is troubling you is important to me. I'll focus on providing a calm, supportive, and safe space for you to feel at ease and to share your concerns, and will listen to you without judgment. I welcome you to connect with me, begin your journey, and find your joy again!
