For the last several years, I've had the awesome honor of working with students from various backgrounds to address concerns such as: depression, anxiety, relationships, career/academics, adjusting to life away from home, adulting, substance use, sexual and gender identity, intimacy, men's issues, dreams, and existential thoughts.
My goal as a board certified counselor and therapist is to journey with students to face their symptoms, meet their goals, and to improve their sense of health and wellness. My previous students report leaving the therapy process more aware of who they are, what they want, what causes their symptoms, and how to better manage or resolve them.
Some past populations I have worked with are: college students, gamers, individuals, couples, LGBTQ+, first-gen, and professional helpers (or individuals interested in the helping professions).
My past clinical experience has shown me that the relationship between therapist and client is critical.
Thus, I am to facilitate a welcoming and non-judgmental counseling environment.
Whatever is bringing you to counseling does not have to define you. Let's work together to make meaning of and manage what is happening, and to increase your overall sense of wellness.
**In an effort to promote the safety and wellbeing of students, I am offering engaging video telehealth sessions at this time.**
