Chris Bakes (Sol Health)
I love the privilege of working with creative, insightful individuals looking to better understand themselves. Based on what you find useful, we’ll incorporate existential, artistic, spiritual, and humanistic approaches. From me, you can expect warmth, investment, and- where appropriate- humor to support increased perspective. This highly personalized process is one of the best efforts any of us can make for our health.
Experienced in treating ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, depression disorders (MDD, PDD), and generalized anxiety. Healing is nonlinear, therapy is best when it’s unrushed, and it’s really important that it happens at your own pace. I am a final-year clinical student at Columbia, focusing on treatment for young adults and adolescents, and did my BA at Yale.
"It was what I was born for—to look, to listen, to lose myself inside this soft world." —Mary Oliver, "Mindful"
