Chinyere Stevens
Chinyere Stevens is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with Adolescents, Young Adults, and Adults in a variety of treatment settings. Chinyere earned her master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She has also earned her bachelor’s degree in social work with an emphasis in Child Welfare from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. Chinyere has experience in helping individuals process through and heal from trauma. She also has experience working with individuals looking to cope with anxiety, depression, as well as significant life changes and transitions. Chinyere uses a Person-Centered approach and believes in treating the whole person, mind, body and soul. In doing so, Chinyere incorporates holistic approaches and uses a combination of Evidenced Based modalities such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy in addition to encouraging clients to tap into their passions and creativity throughout their healing process. Chinyere is dedicated to Cultural Humility and also has experience in supporting clients through Gender Expression and Identity exploration.
