Hello, I'm Cheryl. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia, I bring 23 years of experience in the field of mental health to our sessions. My goal is to create an open and safe environment where your thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I believe that taking the first step toward seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and I am here to support you in that process.

I specialize in helping clients navigate relationship issues, manage anger, and build motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. Additionally, I have expertise in working with addiction, family relationships, military and veteran support, multicultural and diversity issues, stress, traumatic brain injury, OCD, and anxiety. Whether you are dealing with intimate or romantic relationship challenges or seeking to manage stress and anxiety, I am equipped to guide you through these difficulties.

My approach is client-centered and compassionate, focusing on your unique needs and goals. I utilize evidence-based practices to help you develop coping strategies and achieve personal growth. In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative and supportive atmosphere where we work together to understand and address your concerns.

Outside of my professional life, I am dedicated to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in mental health to provide the best care possible. I am passionate about helping individuals from diverse backgrounds and strive to offer culturally sensitive therapy.

If you're ready to take the next step toward a more fulfilling life, I am here to support and guide you on your journey. Let's work together to achieve your goals and improve your well-being.
