Cheryl Ellis
I view therapy as a healing journey we walk together—you set the goals, and I support you in reaching them.
I believe you are the expert of your own life; my role is to listen, partner, and guide.
In our first session, I focus on hearing your story and clarifying what you hope to gain from therapy.
I draw from training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Therapies.
I integrate cultural backgrounds and lived experiences, recognizing that our thoughts and feelings are shaped by personal, family, community, and cultural influences.
My goal is to create a space where all aspects of your identity are honored as we work toward healing and growth.
