I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. My approach to therapy is grounded in whole-person care, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and somatic practices, and motivational interviewing. I work with clients to understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—helping them build self-awareness, make meaningful changes, and develop sustainable coping strategies.
I have experience working in community mental health, where I supported adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship issues. That experience shaped my belief in the power of long-term therapeutic relationships and affirmed my commitment to meeting each person where they are. I especially enjoy working with college students and young adults as they navigate transitions and begin building the foundation for adulthood.
For over a decade, I’ve also worked as a Registered Yoga Teacher with advanced training in therapeutic yoga and wellness coaching. This background helps me incorporate mind-body awareness and stress management tools into therapy when helpful. Teaching yoga to individuals with Autism and Down syndrome helped me strengthen my ability to adapt creatively and approach every session with patience and curiosity.
I specialize in supporting adults through relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional regulation. Whether you're navigating conflict, exploring your identity, or trying to understand long-standing patterns, I offer a space that’s safe, nonjudgmental, and centered around your needs and goals. Therapy with me may include exploring deeper emotional patterns while also building practical tools for communication, setting boundaries, and managing stress.
What I enjoy most about being a therapist is helping people reconnect with their strengths and feel more confident in themselves and their relationships. There’s something powerful about supporting someone as they move through a challenging time and begin to rediscover clarity, direction, and resilience.
Outside of therapy, I value consistency in self-care—daily walks, quiet moments outside, or a few minutes of stretching are my essentials. I’ve found that simple routines can make a real difference, and I love supporting clients in finding what works best for them.
