With curiosity, compassion, and openness, I approach therapy as a supportive and collaborative partner to my patients, who include children, adolescents, and adults. My specialties as a psychotherapist focus on trauma, self-esteem and identity concerns, difficult emotions, family stress, and periods of significant change.

Together, we help you create a stronger sense of self, make sense of your experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and navigate relationships and life changes with greater confidence and self-understanding. I look forward to building a therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your experiences and work toward the changes that matter most to you.

I believe people are capable of meaningful change when they feel supported rather than judged and, therefore, the therapeutic process should be shaped around each person's individual needs, strengths, and goals. That’s why I bring a warm, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach to care, as I'm passionate about making therapy a collaborative process where you feel safe to be honest, explore difficult experiences, and better understand yourself.

You can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being yourself, with a style that's collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs, experiences, and goals. Through evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-focused interventions, and psychodynamic therapy, I help you better understand your emotions and experiences, develop practical coping skills, strengthen relationships, and work toward meaningful change.

Therapy should meet you where you are rather than asking you to fit into a particular framework, so I shape our work around what feels most helpful and meaningful to you.

I didn’t initially intend to become a therapist; I was invested in pursuing psychological research, but a serendipitous scheduling issue with an undergraduate placement moved me from research assistant to intake counselor, and I found myself deeply invested in the stories I heard and equally rewarded by the support I was able to provide in crucial moments.

That experience led me to pivot my career aspirations, and I have since pursued clinical work across a variety of populations and modalities. All of this work has deepened my commitment to providing warm, collaborative care centered on the patient and how their unique experiences in life have shaped their perspectives and understanding of the world.

In my free time, I like baking for the people in my life (I'm a big fan of pie), along with reading, painting, and photography. I'm also a long-suffering fan of the Philadelphia Flyers.
