My name is Charlis Harvey and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor here at Health In Mind. I am accepting referrals for Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). I have experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment, behavior issues, couples, and families.
I attended Liberty University where I received my Masters of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling. Prior to starting my journey in counseling, I was an elementary school teacher for 9 years.
My lifelong passion for helping others and my belief in the importance of mental health have led me to this journey to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. Through my work, I aim to educate children, teens, and adults on mental health and help them to develop effective coping skills through the use of Psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy Activities, Talk Therapy, and Mindfulness.
