Much of my work has focused on working with those that are dealing with anxiety, depression, identity development (GLBTQIA+), relational concerns, grief, and trauma and abuse. Additionally, I have extensive experience assisting people who are seeking access to gender affirming healthcare, including writing referral letters. In my work, I take into consideration the intersection of who people are and their various identities in order to better understand and support them, as they seek greater emotional health. From a formal standpoint, my approach to therapy draws from psychodynamic, attachment, and cognitive behavioral therapies and also addresses the challenges of regulating one’s thoughts and feelings and the effects of psychological and physical stress on the body.
