Cedar Creek Wellness is a small group practice with physical locations in Athens, GA and Savannah, GA offering in person and telehealth sessions for people in the State of Georgia. We focus on seeing the person in their environment and providing trauma informed care. Both Valerie and Jacquie are trained in EMDR and utilize mindfulness strategies to meet people where they are and untangle the past experiences or challenges that may be showing up in your day to day life.

Valerie McGuinness is a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker and yoga teacher specializing in individual therapy for the treatment of anxiety, depression, caregiver stress, and trauma in Athens, Georgia.

Jacqueline Reis is a licensed master of social work who helps individuals with complex and acute trauma, chronic illness, and integrating one’s voice and passions back into daily life. She focuses work with neurodiverse adults and especially value the context and life experience that comes from working with middle-aged clients. Jacquie's focus is in integrative healthcare with specialized training in the healing of trauma.
