Catherine Harm
Making the decision to begin your therapeutic journey can feel overwhelming. My goal is to create a safe environment for you to grow and explore the things that have been holding you back. This could be feelings of anxiety, trauma, communication issues, difficulty establishing boundaries, toxic relationships with family or friends, or a major change in your life that has left you feeling confused or lost. Our work together will include identifying triggers and patterns of behavior, as well as recognizing roadblocks and reframing negative thoughts.
I have some specialty areas including trauma, adoption, foster care, LGBTQIA, anxiety, relationships, parenting, and divorce. I've been trained in Training for Adoption Competency with C.A.S.E., EMDR, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other modalities. I emphasize collaboration in my sessions and provide a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere.
I would be happy to discuss if I am the right person to work with you. Reaching out can be a difficult, but important step. Starting counseling takes a lot of courage and I commend you for beginning your search for a counselor by visiting this page. Please reach out with any questions you may have, I am happy to help!
