Casey Herger
My goal as a therapist is to help you expand your world through imagination & possibility. Many of us feel constrained by what society or others tell us is "right" or "wrong," & when neither path feels right, we can feel stuck, frustrated, or scared. In therapy, I challenge my clients to forge their own path by building a relationship with their intuition & strengthening their communication skills. My approach is direct yet compassionate, explorative, & collaborative. I'll help you build the confidence to understand & maintain your boundaries, listen to yourself, & communicate your needs assertively, with kindness & compassion.
We'll work on understanding your window of tolerance for stress, anxiety, or confrontation & gradually strengthen your skills. I'll help you become more aware of patterns that are no longer serving you. We'll analyze what's working & what's not, then introduce & test new alternatives that feel like a better fit.
You don't have to face challenges alone. I provide a compassionate space where we can uncover the "why" behind what you're facing & find what feels manageable. My approach is non-judgmental—if it's not a problem for you, it's not a problem for me. Together, we can find a way to move forward.
