Do you struggle with chronic or treatment-resistant depression or anxiety? Do you have high standards for yourself or others that are sometimes impossible to live up to? When others are having fun and relaxed, is it hard for you to join in?

If any of the above apply to you, then we might be a great therapeutic match!

My name is Caroline, and I’m a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Missouri. Trained by the treatment developers at the Radically Open Institute, I specialize in Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based, transdiagnostic therapy for disorders of overcontrol. As a certified RO-DBT practitioner, I help my clients build a life that’s aligned with their goals. I love working with people to build a life that’s not only worth living but also worth sharing!

Outside of RO-DBT, I also work with people who struggle with OCD, specific phobias/fears, and PTSD. I use Exposure and Response Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help them build a new relationship with the uncomfortable emotions that they normally avoid.

Regardless of if you’re seeing me for RO-DBT, ERP, ACT, or DBT, know that all the approaches that I use are evidence-based and empirically supported. This means they are backed up by decades of high-quality research that has demonstrated their effectiveness for specific conditions. As a therapist, I’m a big believer in following the science. I take pride in providing my clients with care known to be effective.

If any of that sounds intriguing to you, give me a call! I’m happy to provide a free phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit.
