I am passionate about working with college students like you, and I would feel honored to support you during what can be an exciting, difficult, transformative, fun, and stressful time in your life. I have a master's degree in Counseling with a Specialization in College Counseling & Student Development, and I have worked in counseling centers at both large public and small private universities. My approach to counseling focuses on your strengths and emphasizes your own unique lived experience. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable being your authentic self and ensure you feel seen, heard, respected, and understood. I work to to support you in honoring who you are now while also helping you move towards changes in your life that are important to you based on your own values and goals. The counseling experience is different in every counseling relationship, and I will collaborate with you to tailor our work to your specific needs. My overall focus is to help you feel empowered to address your personal and interpersonal development and to work towards optimum wellness. I am a generalist and have experience partnering with students facing a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, interpersonal relationships, and trauma. I am especially equipped to support students who want to address concerns related to perfectionism, difficulties with self-compassion, and an over-emphasis on achievement/productivity.
