Hello! I'm Candace, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping others navigate life's challenges. As a wife and mother of five wonderful kids, and a grandmother to eight darling grandchildren, I understand the complexities and joys of family life. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey where we work together to find the best path forward for you.
With a Master's degree in counseling and extensive experience working in various settings such as hospitals, prisons, schools, and private practice, I bring a wealth of knowledge and understanding to our sessions. My approach is compassionate and client-centered, focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.
I specialize in helping individuals manage anger, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, life transitions, PTSD, and stress. Whether you're dealing with a significant loss, struggling with anxiety, or navigating a major life change, I'm here to support you and provide the tools you need to thrive.
Outside of my professional life, I love spending time in nature. I split my time between Georgia and Montana, enjoying the beauty and tranquility that both places offer. This connection to nature often influences my therapeutic approach, as I believe that being in tune with our environment can greatly enhance our mental well-being.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and help you achieve your goals. If you're ready to take the first step towards a healthier, more fulfilling life, please reach out. Let's embark on this journey together.
