We believe that you should have the specialized support you need, where you need. We have designed our program specifically around the college schedule to provide you with the opportunity to complete DBT skills training during the semester. We work with you to help you navigate the specific challenges facing college students. Learn to be engage in the present, manage difficult emotions, deal with stress, and increase relationship satisfaction.
We begin treatment by encouraging you to enumerate your short-term and long-term life goals. This process in itself is challenging for many people, as they simply have never defined and verbalized their goals. With your goals in mind we can identify, target, and treat current and past obstacles that stand in the way of meaningful change. Often, feelings of anxiety or depression or problematic behaviors seem like an insurmountable mountain, through clearly and specifically stating your goals we carve a path over that mountain.
We are trained and practicing DBT therapists. Additionally, we are trained in DBT-PE and TF-CBT for trauma, as well as CBT for anxiety and depression.
Licensed to service students in NY and FL.
We look forward to working together with you, helping you to understand and achieve your goals.
