Caitlin Thompson
My specialization includes assisting adults experiencing challenges of all types: be that physical, mental, psychiatric, developmental, cognitive, intellectual, chronic illness, etc. This may be a personal or indirect experience currently affecting you. We will work together to reflect on and overcome barriers in an empathetic and nurturing environment. We will take the time to grieve any loss, reflect on how things have changed and current frustrations, appreciate where you are now, and work together to find solutions or strategies that work for you and move you towards a better outlook and life.
As a CRC, I specialize in assisting people with disabilities. I offer support with reaching goals, changing perspectives, overcoming barriers, navigating transition periods, developing positive coping strategies, vocational counseling, & determining accommodations. I have additional specialty in service dog and assistance animal consultation for clients.
As an individual with disabilities utilizing a service dog, I have a unique perspective and insight that allows for true empathy in our relationship as I learn about you and understand your needs. All of our experiences are unique and every individual deserves to be seen and understood. I hope that I can meet you wherever you are at in life and assist you.
