Hi, I’m Caitlin, a psychologist based in Richmond, VA. I'm so glad you're considering therapy—taking this step toward healing and self-exploration is a big one, and I’m here to support you.

I enjoy working with students navigating major life changes, including graduate students, nontraditional students, and those who don’t quite feel like they fit in. Whether you're struggling to balance school and life responsibilities, shifting career paths, or struggling with self-criticism and shame, I provide a space where your experiences are validated, and you can explore new ways to thrive.

In addition to helping students navigate life changes, I specialize in treating sexual trauma. I believe healing from trauma is about more than just moving forward—it’s about understanding how your experiences have shaped your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Together, we’ll explore how past wounds and relational dynamics affect your present and work to foster greater insight and healing.

While I work with individuals of all genders, I’m especially dedicated to supporting men who have experienced sexual trauma, providing a space where they can process their experiences without fear of judgment. I also take a trauma-informed, holistic approach to ensure that the impact of your gender identity, sexual orientation, and cultural background is part of your healing journey.

I am part of a group practice called Summit Emotional Health. I provide individual and couple's therapy as well as psychological testing. Our practice operates as out-of-network providers and we can offer a Superbill for services, so you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
