Bryce Stockslager
As we journey through life, even in our most painful moments it can still feel like a huge risk to seek help from a new place. That is why I strive to provide a therapy experience for my clients that honors that risk. An experience where you are able to show up as your authentic self and work towards personal growth alongside someone who is attuned to your thoughts, feelings, and needs. Across my time, I have worked primarily with college students as well as a wide variety of adults in age and background often struggling with anxiety, depression, stress management, emotion regulation, identity development, family of origin concerns, relationship concerns, life transitions and more.
My approach to therapy hinges on creating a strong therapeutic relationship that can serve as a safe haven for my clients. To me this means a relationship where you can feel seen and accepted as you are and where, with the support of another, you can process and manage experiences and emotions that may have felt too confusing, overwhelming, or frightening to do alone. From this base of safety, we’ll venture out to understand together the emotional, relational, systemic, and other factors that have contributed to the roots of your current concerns and the cycles and stuck places you may be caught in.
My hope is to not only help you build the skills to manage your present distress and reach your goals, but to also help you move towards a life of greater emotional balance, self-compassion, and secure connections with others. Wherever you are at in your life journey, I consider it a real gift to meet you there and be a source of support in this time!
