Dr. Smith is a licensed psychologist who specializes in the treatment of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, and trauma-related issues. The majority of her clinical work is in the area of OCD and related disorders.

Dr. Smith is a licensed psychologist in Michigan and Nevada and provides telehealth services to clients in those states. She trained with experts in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and OCD at the University of Nevada, Reno and Utah State University. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from Utah State University, completed her internship at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System, American Lake Division, and was an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology at Western Michigan University from 2019-2022. She now works in private practice. Dr. Smith has been treating anxiety and obsessive-compulsive and related issues since 2013.
