I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Foresight. I graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2017 with a Master's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in working with families, couples, and individuals. I have worked in residential settings and an outpatient psychiatric mental health care setting. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults who experience ADHD, anxiety, depression, behavior issues, adjustment, grief, loss, mild to extensive trauma, immigration issues, and family separation. I also have experience working with couple's and families who experience a wide range of difficulties. I am passionate about providing therapy services to Spanish speaking populations and those in the community who are underrepresented and underserved. I approach counseling from a collaborative, strengths based approach using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I aim to create a safe, empathetic, genuine space where individuals can learn to identify how to utilize their strengths to achieve growth and change.
