A Message from Brigette…
When I first meet with clients, I really try to communicate how important it is to me that they feel they are being accepted and helped from a non-judgmental stance on my part. I hope that I am able to place my clients at ease to be open and share very personal experiences that can be of a very sensitive nature. By creating a relationship where clients feel comfortable that I will not be shocked, judgmental, or offended by their experiences, we can instead seek to explore how these experiences impact their own life and relationships. Having experience with traumatic events in my own life, such as domestic violence, divorce, loss of an infant, loss of loved ones to suicide and substance abuse, I hope my clients will feel my desire to provide treatment in an empathetic and non judgmental manner.
