Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW, M-CASAC, CCATP
Last Updated 30+ days ago

I've been in the field of social services for over 25 years, and I've had the good fortune to work in many different settings and with a vast array of populations. As a therapist I create environments that help people feel safe and supported and assist people in building motivation towards positive change. My clinical work is grounded in research and evidence-based practices, and I always work at a pace that is tailored to your unique situation and goals. My approach to therapy is warm, individualized, compassionate, and flexible. I'm a humble man with a good sense of humor, and I'm sensitive yet direct when I communicate.
I've received formal training in many of the psychotherapy models and have specialized in the treatment of addiction, depression, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, shame, couples, anxiety, trauma, anger/rage, and relationship challenges. I use the Gottman method for Couples Counseling and find the strategies practical and easy to adopt.
In the early stages of my career, I treated adolescents, families, and young adults, and over the last decade have had more clinical experience working with adults and couples. I've also managed clinical program settings, providing leadership and supervision. I'd be happy to set up an initial consultation to see if we would be a good match to work together.
