Specializing in identity development and substance use treatment, I work with young people and adults as a Resident in Counseling to help them develop the capacity to fully experience their emotions, and to learn from the powerful wisdom those emotions carry. Whether you're navigating mental health challenges, substance use, men’s issues, or questions of identity and purpose, my focus is on helping you connect more deeply with yourself.

I believe in authenticity and transparency in the counseling space. Our relationship is an equal partnership, and I invite you to ask questions about the treatment process and advocate for any needs you have along the way.

As a person-centered and relational therapist, I'm passionate about helping people learn how to truly feel. Sessions are always a safe space to express your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment, as I ensure a grounded, empathetic, and goal-oriented approach at all times. Using a blend of psychodynamic and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques tailored to your unique goals and cultural values, I help you build awareness of your here-and-now experiences and connect with what those experiences are telling you.

My path to becoming a therapist came from my own challenges with identity and purpose. After an unsuccessful bout as a college computer engineer student, I faced a crisis of identity — and was forced to reckon with who I was and what I wanted to do. Pursuing those questions led me to a deep passion for the existential questions of life, and ultimately to a sense of purpose I hadn't found before. That experience is what drives my commitment to helping others connect with themselves and lead lives that feel authentic.

Skiing, reading, video games, and traveling are some of my favorite ways to spend time. But what I love most? A good DIY home improvement project!
