I am Brandon Bassham, a student intern at South University, where I am working toward my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I graduated from Longwood University in 2017 and Old Dominion University in 2019. Prior to beginning my journey in professional counseling, I worked in higher education.

I am passionate about supporting individuals through self-exploration and meaningful conversations around LGBTQ+ identity, neurodiversity, and personal growth. I strive to help people better understand and accept themselves and their life experiences, as I believe this understanding provides a strong foundation for healing.

My approach is person-centered and collaborative. I incorporate grounding techniques, mindfulness practices, and psychoeducation to develop individualized strategies tailored to the unique needs of each person I work with. I look forward to working with you!
