Central Ohio continues to have a growing need for trauma-informed, evidence-based mental health services. The agency was started on the foundation of providing these services in an environment that considers the unique parts of every person and family we encounter. We work collaboratively to support the courage needed to face fears and get Beyond the Storm.

Counseling - Trauma-Informed means that we look at events that have shaped the way people think, feel, and behave as we form our understanding of an individuals or families struggles. We provide evidence-based mental health counseling services for adolescents and adults. We are able to provide services to people suffering from many mental health concerns.

ADHD Assessments - At Beyond the Storm we want to help you take control of your ADHD journey. We offer two fully remote ADHD assessment options for clients 6 years of age and older.

The first option for those seeking a more thorough evaluation, is a comprehensive diagnostic ADHD assessment using multiple screening and assessment tools, and an interactive assessment which is completed over four sessions. If the presence of ADHD is detected, the full assessment includes actionable, non-medical interventions tailored to your specific symptomatology, formal diagnosis, a detailed report for you and your physician, and a letter to a school or employer for accommodation recommendations if applicable.

The second option is an abbreviated ADHD assessment using multiple screening tools that is completed over two sessions with a licensed mental health clinician. If the screening detects the presence of ADHD symptoms you will receive an abbreviated report with diagnosis and actionable, non-medical interventions tailored to your specific symptomatology. This is a great option for people who want to understand their experiences and get some ideas to increase functionality, but are not interested in medication or accommodations for work or school.
