Bethe Reed
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression and eating disorders for adults and teens. I also help people with emotion regulation, ADHD, autism, relationship difficulties, body image, life and work stressors, grief, substance use, life transitions and more. I got my start in college counseling where I worked at the University of South Carolina with teens and young adults from all walks of life. I have experience treating a wide range of mental health concerns.
I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process. We will work towards goals that are most important to you, at your pace, in a relaxed, supportive setting, where you can feel confident about your care and safe to be yourself.
My clients often describe me as approachable, warm, and highly invested in their care. I draw from several therapeutic approaches, which I tailor to each person’s specific needs (see below). I also believe that sometimes words fall short, and I include art- and yoga-based activities for those who want to try something a little different.
