Hi! My name is Bethany, and I am so glad you have come to my page. If you are in college and finding it difficult to manage tasks, filled with anxiety, figuring out how to adjust living away from home or having a hard time navigating relationships, you have come to the right place. I have helped a number of teens, college age, and young adult clients navigate these issues and build a sense of identity during this season of their lives. I primarily I use CBT, DBT, RODBT, and a trauma informed lens to help implement behavioral and relationship changes in their lives.
I believe the majority of our struggles begin and end with attachment. Meaning, our earliest attachments inform how we view the world and how we respond to it. As we get older, we may have behaviors and ways of thinking that don’t serve us anymore, and we need to learn ways to heal those attachment traumas and behaviors.
I hope to provide a safe place for my clients, go at your pace, and I believe it is beneficial to provide tools, education, feedback, as well as empathy. Your only job is to be yourself. I am a fully licensed marriage and family therapist in FL and GA. Please reach out for a free consultation to see if I am a good fit for you.
