Hello my name is Becky Lynn I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor who specializes in working with high achieving women who feel overwhelmed, stressed, and want more satisfaction out of life.

The peak wellness group is the place where women and empower each other to live full successful lives, take care of ourselves so we can care for others, and connect with our true nature in our natural world. (Online community will be available soon)

My personal mission is to empower women to prioritize their well-being and improve their lives by developing healthy relationships with themselves, their community, and our natural world.

My specialty is helping women reduce stress through healing emotions of overwhelm and hopelessness into peace and happiness.
The majority of my clients are women who are highly motivated and driven but may experience one or more of the follow: difficulty with focus, anxiety or feeling overwhelmed, mild depression or discouragement, adverse childhood events that still hurt when remembered, high stress response to change or unexpected surprises, and other health related issues that may not make sense. My clients are often burned out with all the effort they have put in and don’t feel happy or satisfied with their life. Often they look at the future and wonder how they will make it. They often put so much effort into taking care of others that they feel they don’t have enough left over for themselves.

Often I help client with the following mental and emotional struggles:
Adult ADHD (focus, fog, and forgetfulnesses)
Depression
Anxiety
Trauma
Co-occurring illness such as autoimmune support.

My approach focuses on integrating a sustainable healthy lifestyle, specific skills for success, meditation to train the brain, art to open up stuck emotions, nature for calming down overthinking, reducing distress from past experiences, balancing relationships, education on nutrition and supplements, and strength based wellness planning.

I provide educational classes/groups, therapy online, in a shared office space and when appropriate in a home/office setting for clients who would benefit from the calm private setting.
---Online Group: we don’t heal in isolation, negativity, under pressure, or in a state of threat. (I am currently working on building an online community to help provide additional support and education regarding mental, physical, and emotional wellness.)

Additionally:

I am Certified integrative mental health professional: this means I have completed training in integrated holistic practices focused on mental health issues. I use education to help clients make choices about their nutrition, herbal supplements, vitamins, alternative options for mental health. I don’t proscribe medications. I do want to help my clients learn more about their options and make informed decisions about how they nourish their mind, body, and souls. I help provide referrals for other specialists that can complete the whole body healing process.

I am trained in Meditation and Mindfulness practices and have been using these principles personally and professionally for almost 10 years. I am currently working on a teaching certificate through the American Institute of healthcare professionals.

I have extensive training and supervision in Emotionally Focused Therapy specific to couples and families. This training allows me to use attachment based non pathological understanding to the challenges my clients face with their loved ones. And when appropriate my clients will bring a partner or close family member to a special 90 minute session to help them feel more connected in relationships.

I have had training, supervision, and use EMDR daily with my clients to reduce distress, process emotions, resolve past trauma, and dissolve negative core beliefs. Most of my clients are completely surprised by how effective EMDR is and how grateful they feel for the relief it brings them. EMDR is Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. This process engages the whole brain both right and left sides to calm, enhance, and build new perspectives.

Art and Nature based therapy has always just come naturally for me. I spent most of my childhood playing outside and creating art. It has helped me through my own challenges in childhood through adulthood. My passion for both nature and art has increased through the years and deepened my understanding in the psychology and mental health. I still spend all of my free time playing outside and making art. I am excited to now bring all that experience into my own creative approach to support my clients in their own healing process.

Wellness Planning is another place where I have pulled together the best research and programs together to create my own strengths based program that is highly customizable for each of my clients.
