Hi, Thank you for taking the time to research my practice to see if I could be a good fit for your needs and work towards your wellbeing. Realizing and asking for help takes courage. I am an LGBTQ+ clinical mental health counselor and addictions specialist in Boone, NC. I have advanced training using trauma-informed care, infused with expressive arts, nature, and sports psychotherapies. I have worked for 10 years within harm reduction methods relating to addiction, adverse childhood experiences, relational violence, LGBTQ+ identities, and trauma informed methods for holistic care. My approach is eclectic, uniquely adaptable to working with a range of ages, developmental, and transitional stages towards positive shifts in attitude, behavior, and mood of each client in our rural western north carolina area. I work on-call, and also have weekend availability to meet your scheduling needs.
