You didn’t know what it would be like, but you didn’t think it would be like this. Unsure of how life will unfold and wondering if you will be able to find some semblance of stability (or if you will sputter, perpetually stuck and unable to realize the life you envisioned growing up), you look around to external guideposts. Trying to understand how to thrive in this world while simply just existing while also not failing, you look to these external markers to validate where you are and still feel empty and directionless. It’s not easy being human. Yes, we have all the trappings to make human-ing easier, and yet challenges persist. Perhaps it shows up in mindlessly scrolling, searching for others to connect with or more items to buy to fill the emptiness that continues to nag, always thirsty. Maybe in numbing through substances or distractions, deliberately focused on not focusing on the world in front of you. It can feel insurmountable, the question of how to move forward and even where to begin. Our work will disentangle what it is you want, who you want to be, and what it is you value. We will explore, investigate and identify the thoughts, emotions and themes that run through your story, seeking to shed light on where the stuck points exist and work to remove the blockages. I will support you and lead with curiosity, compassion and authenticity as you bring awareness to what composes your personal legend.
