Hi! I’m Autumn Zerendow.
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts. I have been working in the human services field for 7+ years in a variety of roles and settings. I graduated from Cambridge College in 2017 with a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and have been licensed as an independent practitioner since December 2019.
I believe that all behavior has meaning. I offer a non-judgmental, compassionate, empowerment based approach to assist others with developing their own awareness and insight into their lives.
I have a variety of field experience working with people in college and in many other stages of their life that have experienced anxiety, depression, life transitions, overwhelming stress and specific traumas such as sexual assault, domestic violence and many other traumatic experiences acknowledging that each persons experience is unique. The impacts of the same event for two people could be very different and intense for one and not so intense for the other. Have had advanced training and in school internship field placement in eating disordered specific treatment and in a psychiatric crisis setting. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
Currently accepting and am in network with all Tufts commercial and public plans, Aetna, BCBS of any state or federal plan, Optum products such as United Healthcare, Harvard Pilgrim and Allways/MGB HP. I accept payment for copays/private pay sessions through HSA, FSA and credit/debit card through a secure HIPAA compliant service made specifically for therapists.
