My name is Kenatta Bethea and I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have a total of 12 years of experience in the mental health field, with my last three years being served in the Nurse Practitioner role. I am passionate about providing mental health treatment to individuals struggling with adjusting to life challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional challenges with infertility, and postpartum challenges.

First, take a moment and acknowledge the magnitude of the step you have taken right now. Taking the first step in healing can be a challenging task. It can be very difficult to admit to yourself when you need help, and you have done that. The next step of actually seeking help can be even more challenging as you may not know the specific area that you need support in. It can also be challenging due to feeling overwhelmed with options for support and experiencing fear of the unknown and/or negativity surrounding mental health treatment.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I strive to provide quality wellness services in a safe and nonjudgmental environment to support individuals in need of healing from life changes or challenges. Some life changes or challenges may cause anxiety, depression, a decline in self-care and/or work performance, and sleep disturbances in some individuals. Some life challenges may also be traumatic to some individuals, causing a significant disruption in their daily lives. I pride myself on providing various treatment modalities to assist individuals in becoming a healthy and healed version of themselves.
