Hi! My name is Ashley and I've always had a passion for helping people who are in vulnerable or difficult places. I know how hard it can be to reach out for help, so that's why I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore the issues that are holding you back from being your best self. I use cognitive behavioral therapy in combination with person-centered and trauma-informed approaches to help clients identify, challenge, and replace unhelpful or harmful thinking patterns. I like to incorporate creative interventions as well as humor into sessions, so it doesn't always feel overwhelming when you leave.
I specialize in working with survivors of trauma, including narcissistic abuse, domestic violence, and childhood trauma. These experiences can be overwhelming to figure out alone, so I utilize a collaborative approach to help empower clients and move them forward towards their goals. You're in the driver's seat, and I'm your co-pilot.
My ideal client recognizes that they don't have to have the answers or have everything figured out. They also understand that therapy is a marathon and not a sprint, so it's OK if you don't feel better right away. It takes practice and consistency to establish real, sustainable change. If you're ready to make a change and start working through the hard stuff, reach out and let's see if we're a good fit! I have flexibility with my schedule that may not be reflected on my calendar. Send me a message if you have any questions!
