Totum Counseling and Consulting Service, LLC
Provider Types
This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
- Clinical Social Work/Therapists
Someone once told me “we are all swimming around in the same dirty water.” You are not alone. We have all been impacted by painful or traumatic experiences, thoughts, or emotions. It can be helpful during a difficult time to seek the support of trained professional. I am here to walk alongside you, helping you to process, cope, and ultimately grow.
An integrative approach guides my practice and allows me to create a unique treatment plan for each client. Through the use of trauma-informed care, mindfulness meditation, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, we will work together to bring about an awareness of negative thought patterns, practice new strategies, and move towards healthy behavioral change.
Services
My services include short and long-term in-person counseling sessions for adults, in a safe, supportive environment. Depending on the presenting issue, I will help you learn how to use grounding, meditative, and mindfulness techniques to cope with depression, stress, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma.
I also provide individual and group supervision for Licensed Professional Counselors and Licensed Clinical Social Workers.
Experience:
I am a licensed clinical social worker in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with 10+ years of experience working with individuals and families in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker - The State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors
Certified Domestic Violence Advocate/Counselor (Note: All potential clients seeking domestic violence counseling will be referred to their local domestic violence agency first, as those services are most often free of charge. If, after a referral to the domestic violence agency has been made, the client wishes to engage in counseling services with Ashley Thompson at Totum Counseling and Consulting Services, a letter of acknowledgment must be signed by both client and counselor.)
