Hello, I'm Ashley, and I'm so glad you're here. With five years of experience as a mental health counselor working at a community mental health agency, I've had the privilege of supporting a diverse range of clients, from young children to adults. My approach to therapy is very person-centered, meaning I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship with each of my clients. I see therapy as a collaborative journey where we work together to create a treatment plan that is tailored specifically to your needs and goals.
In our sessions, I draw from several different therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and motivational interviewing. These methods allow me to address a variety of issues such as adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, anger management, anxiety, ADHD, depression, family and intimate relationships, stress, suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviors, and trauma.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I bring a light-hearted and humorous touch to our sessions. I believe that therapy doesn't always have to be serious and that sometimes, a little laughter can be incredibly healing. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel comfortable to explore your thoughts and emotions.
If you're ready to take the next step in your journey, I'm here to support you. Let's work together to find the path that best suits you. Feel free to reach out and let's start this journey together.
