Art Therapy Counseling and Consultation, LLC

Hello! Thank you for considerning my practice.
I am a licensed professional counselor and board certified art therapist. I have worked in the field of mental health for over 25 years. My focus in every session is to provide the therapeutic space for each person to unravel the things that keep them from living their best life. This is a safe space in which to explore unresolved feelings, consider strengths and challenges, examine internal conflicts, receive support and be heard. The clients I work best with understand that therapy is the process of healing the self from wounds that have effected sense of self and ideas of self. Therapy, as we will see, is a depth process and can employ imagery and art making to further that understanding. I do not do much cognitive behavioural intervention, nor worksheet types of therapy. This is process oriented reflective work.
