I remember the first time I walked into a counseling office, uncomfortable and a bit uncertain as to what I even wanted out of it. I just knew I needed help navigating the chapters of my story that still felt messy and painful. Choosing to pursue counseling takes bravery and vulnerability. Allowing a stranger into the chapters of your life you may have never vocalized before is not something I take lightly. I hope that as your potential counselor, my office is a place where you feel heard and accepted.

I didn’t expect the path I am on now, and had it not been for God’s guidance in my life, I’m not sure I would have become a counselor. Yet after several short stints of living overseas, I learned two lessons that shifted my worldview and led me down this career path. First, the unique cultures we grow up in greatly influence how we navigate the world around us and deserve attention. The second lesson was that life can often feel like a revolving door of change, and sometimes we just need a little extra support and consistency to navigate the life chapters flipping forward. Understanding our stories and how all the unique chapters of our lives influence the ones to come is often a beautiful, challenging, and rewarding process. I am honored to create a safe space for you to work towards your goals and healing as we dive into your story.
