Antoinette Rittenhouse
Let me first say, I am so glad you are taking the first step into improving your health. This is often the most difficult one. I have over 17 years of experience working with Children, Adolescents, and Adults diagnosed with ODD, OCD, ADD/ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Severe Mood Disorders, Military/Veteran transitions/reintegration, Stress Management, Tobacco Cessation, Weight Management, Chronic Condition/ Disease Management to name a few. Additionally, I am a Certified Case Manager, which means that I can help you to coordinate other healthcare needs you may have to help ensure that all of your healthcare providers are working collaboratively seamless together and in your best interest.
I like to use an eclectic approach primarily combining Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, some Solution Focused Therapy, and Positive Psychology. As the client, it is important that you and your goals are always kept in the center of the work we do. Together we will collaborate on the goals you want to work towards that will lead you to the outcome you are striving for.
College years are a transition period, whether you enter them right out of high school or later in life after a few years in the work force. As Maya Angelou once said, "Be the rainbow in someone's else's clouds". I would like to be that rainbow for you. I believe everyone has a toolbox of resources that they can reach into but at times we may not know which tool to use and when. Let me help you along your health journey to be even better and stronger than you are today.
