Hello! I'm Anntana, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based in Maryland. I received my master's degree from Purdue University Global and have been dedicated to helping individuals since 2017. My journey in mental health care began after serving in the United States Army, where I developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by veterans. This experience fuels my passion for supporting veterans as they navigate post-traumatic stress disorder and the transition to civilian life.
In my practice, I believe in a holistic and client-centered approach. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. My goal is to empower you to manage your mental health symptoms effectively and to support you in becoming the best version of yourself. I specialize in working with adults dealing with a wide range of issues, including addiction, anger management, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, family relationships, gender identity, multicultural and diversity issues, OCD, PTSD, intimate and romantic relationships, psychosis and schizophrenia, sex and intimacy issues, sleep disorders, stress, suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors, depression, LGBTQIA+ support, and trauma.
When we work together, you can expect a collaborative and empathetic approach. I am here to listen, guide, and provide the tools you need to navigate life's challenges. Whether you're dealing with daily stressors or more complex mental health issues, I am committed to helping you find clarity and build resilience.
If you're ready to take the next step in your mental health journey, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to achieve your goals and enhance your well-being.
