Starting college is a considerable milestone in a person’s life; it is both exciting and frightening for students and parents. I have formally worked in college health for over eight years at the University of Colorado Boulder and enjoy working with young people, undergraduates and graduate students alike, at this point in their lives. I love seeing their growth and being able to help guide them through difficult times. I can help with evaluations, medications, and general guidance specific to their issues; whether it be ADHD, OCD, PMS/PMDD, anxiety, mood difficulties and women's mental health. Therapy is encouraged when more in-depth counseling is needed and I am happy to collaborate with therapists for the benefit of the student.
Right now I am mostly providing care through video counseling but have added some office visits.
I am licensed in New Mexico as well and am able to see people virtually from New Mexico. For New Mexico clients only I will not be prescribing controlled substances due to DEA regulations. This does not apply to Colorado.
