Anna Psaute
Going to college is a big deal, so congrats on getting here! You have started on your journey towards adulthood by getting an education that will direct your career. College is a time for making friends, having fun and creating memories that will last a life time. With this season also comes pressure, stress, independence and new responsibilities. Whether you're starting your freshman year or preparing to graduate, some times things in life come up that weren't there before (anxiety, depression, failure) and sometimes things that you have struggled with a long time get exacerbated. I work with young adults, using a combination of brain training techniques (neurofeedback) and talk therapy to help them navigate their struggles and come out on the other end stronger and more confident. If you're looking for a place that isn't your tradition type of counseling and offer a non-medicinal approach, this is the place for you!
