Hello, and thank you for being here. My name is Dr. Ann M. Hetzel, PhD, and as a Clinical Psychologist, I’m committed to working with all people who choose to devote themselves to the challenging process of psychotherapy. My psychological work focuses on utilizing Third Wave Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, specifically Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I also draw from many other modalities and influences, including Mindfulness, Meditation, and Tibetan Buddhism.

I specialize in a wide range of areas including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Agoraphobia, Anxiety, Depression, LGBTQIA+ challenges, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Trauma (PTSD). My experience spans working with individuals as young as 12 months to those as mature as 102 years, allowing me to adapt my approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate and non-judgmental space where we will work collaboratively to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My goal is to help you develop the skills and insights needed to navigate life's challenges and achieve a greater sense of well-being.

I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey. If you feel that we might be a good fit, please reach out. Let's take this step together.
