Angie Ferenc
Hello! My name is Angie Ferenc (she/her). I am a VT licensed clinical mental health counselor & have been in private practice since 2006. My practice is fully online and my clients appreciate the ease and flexibility telehealth offers.
I really enjoy the work that I do with college aged students and feel like it’s with these clients where I do some of my best work. I partner together with my clients to support them in identifying, moving thru and resolving a variety of issues and stressors that often surface during this interesting (and often challenging!) time in life. I am comfortable helping with issues surrounding stress/worry, anxiety, depression, medical conditions & chronic pain, life adjustment issues, romantic relationships, family relationships, social conflicts and sexuality.
My style is collaborative, engaging, warm, welcoming & inclusive. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirmative. I believe strongly in holistic mental health and so incorporate both the mind & the body in the work that I do. Above all, I strive to build a safe and trustworthy relationship with each of my clients and see this as an essential foundation to any work that we will do together. Throughout our process we will identify the areas in your life that are feeling challenging and in need of extra support. Together we will set attainable goals and I will support you in learning and practicing practical ways to strengthen and improve upon your mental health & wellness, sense of peace, security & overall happiness.
