With 21 years of experience as a registered nurse and one year as a Nurse Practitioner (NP), I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals struggling with mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and psychosis. Throughout my career, I have embraced the principle of seeing the person, not just the diagnosis—recognizing the importance of humanity, individuality, and the unique needs of each patient. I believe in being open, honest, and reflective with my patients, working collaboratively to set realistic goals and boundaries that maintain a healthy therapeutic relationship.

I leverage technology, including scheduling and patient management software, to streamline care and ensure flexibility when adjustments to appointments or treatment plans are needed. As a provider, my ultimate goal is to guide individuals back to a state of stability, helping them regain their sense of self and empowering them to thrive within their community.

I am honored to have received The McHugh Leadership Award in 2018 and to be an alumnus of the Leadership Academy through LeadingAge Illinois (2016), experiences that have further honed my leadership and advocacy skills. As a Nurse Practitioner, I continue to build upon my foundation of empathy and expertise, striving to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve.

As a provider, I focus on building a relationship based on trust, empathy, and open communication. I believe in meeting clients where they are, without judgment, and offering a safe space for honest conversations. I’m attentive to your unique experiences and will collaborate with you to set goals that are realistic and aligned with your personal values. My approach is both flexible and grounded in a deep respect for each person’s individual journey.

I understand that mental health challenges can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to empower you with the tools and support needed to regain balance and stability. Together, we will take small, manageable steps to improve your well-being, always with the understanding that progress looks different for everyone. I believe in organic growth, setting boundaries when necessary, and fostering a therapeutic relationship that is both respectful and supportive.
