Angel Burns
Angel Burns, LLCSW, (she/her), enjoys encouraging clients to take an active role in their own therapeutic journey. She is a compassionate and empathetic psychotherapist, passionate about diverse genders, sexual orientation and behaviors, and relationship structures. She is committed to creating a warm environment where clients feel safe to be vulnerable.
Angel recognizes that different therapeutic approaches work for different clients, and she utilizes a range of techniques based on each individual’s needs. Her work is grounded in feminist theory and guided by a person-centered approach. She incorporates third-wave CBT techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), self-compassion, and mindfulness practices. Angel is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
