Hello! Here is a little bit about me as a counselor! I have worked with a great, diverse group of clientele with a variety of presenting problems including anxiety, PTSD, depression, and interpersonal conflict. Some of my passions pertaining to mental health include destigmatizing mental health, social justice, and creating a safe space for all clients! I am an integrative counselor, meaning I believe in using a variety of modalities and techniques to ensure the best treatment for my clients. I have found great success utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing skills, and much more!
I pride myself as a clinician who also has perspective as a client! Furthermore, I believe in working WITH clients, taking a collaborative approach to my therapeutic relationships. Additionally, I am with Augustine Counseling in Middlebury on Monday/Tuesday, while on Thursday/Friday I am with First Step Wellness in Danbury. Wednesdays are conditional.
