Life experiences throughout human development - including traumatic events - contribute to ways of thinking, feeling, and living. Those patterns reinforce our beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world. Sometimes we suffer from unhealed wounds and lack insight or skills to get to the life we want to live. Therapy helps with that.
